A Taste of Summer

Summer is in full swing, and there’s no better way to taste the season than with a fresh, delicious melon straight from the farm.

From the first harvest of the season to the fruit making its way from our stores across the country, summer is one of the busiest and most exciting times of year for our team. The season is defined by early mornings, warm days, and plenty of incredible melons.

Where Summer Began:

In May, our summer harvest kicked off in Yuma, Arizona, setting another busy summer in motion. As temperature climbed and fields were ready, our crews got to work harvesting some of the summer's most anticipated fruit.

Transition to California:

As the season progressed, so did our harvest.

Our summer production transitioned from Arizona to California, where harvest is now in full swing. New fields, new scenery, and the same commitment to delivering unforgettable melons.

Today, California is bringing us some of the flavors that define summer at Legend, including our classic melons and the unmistakable sweetness of Sugar Kiss.

One of our favorite parts of the season is seeing the variety that comes with it. Crisp honeydew, juicy watermelon, delicious cantaloupe, and sweet Kiss Melons each bring something different to the table.

But behind every piece of fruit is a much bigger story, and we're so glad you're part of it.
